CENTURIES OF HISTORY

The castle is located in the town of Tilloloy, 3.11 miles south of Roye, in the Somme department (Hauts-de-France region). Property of the Counts of Vermandois until the end of the 12th century, the lordship of Tilloloy was later owned by powerful regional families, and the estate reached its peak under the reign of Louis XIV, who stayed there himself.

A wonderful wedding at this magnificent property where the parish church stands right beside the château — for once, only a two-minute walk between the ceremony and the cocktail reception.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before booking the château for your wedding or event.

Is the estate privatised for our event?

Yes. For the duration of your reception, the salons, stables and grounds of the château are reserved for you — contact us to check your date's availability.

Can we choose our own caterer?

You choose from our carefully selected network of partner caterers (see our Partners page) — or contact us about bringing in a caterer from outside this network.

What happens if it rains?

Your guests stay dry whatever the weather: the grand stables and the château's salons, all fully covered, host both the cocktail hour and the seated dinner.

Is the château accessible for guests with reduced mobility?

Yes, all three reception spaces — the grand salon, the stables and the small salon — are accessible to guests with reduced mobility.

How many guests can the château accommodate?

Up to 300 guests seated or standing in our largest room (400 m²). For a more intimate reception, count on 120 to 199 guests depending on the salon chosen.

Can we hold a religious wedding ceremony on site?

Yes, the 16th-century Notre-Dame-de-Lorette church, a listed historic monument, stands right next to the château — just a few minutes' walk from the reception salons.

Where can our guests stay?

Several partner accommodations close to the château — gîtes, guesthouses and the Ancien Couvent des Minimes — can host your guests. See our Accommodation page.
